Introduction: Mapping My Growth as a Developer
This subpage serves as a showcase for my academic and professional projects, highlighting the steps I’ve taken—and will continue to take—in my journey as a developer. Here, I will collect and present the work that reflects not only what I’ve learned but also how I’ve applied it in practical contexts.
Think of it as both a portfolio and a roadmap, documenting my evolution in web development. As I continue to tackle new challenges, this page will grow alongside my skills and experiences.
Current Education: Shaping My Developer Toolbox
I am currently enrolled in the Web Developer Program at Middle University. This program has been instrumental in shaping my understanding of both foundational and advanced concepts in web development. Through a combination of hands-on projects and in-depth coursework, I’ve gained a solid grounding in technologies that power modern web applications.
Some key aspects of the program include:
- A balanced focus on both frontend and backend development.
- Practical experience in building and deploying fullstack applications.
- Insights into project management, including both traditional and agile methodologies.
What My Education Has Taught Me
Over the course of my studies, I’ve built a strong technical skillset. Here is an overview of the tools and technologies I’ve worked with:
- Frontend Development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Nuxt.js, Vue.js, responsive design, and web accessibility.
- Backend Development: Node.js, PHP, ASP.NET Core MVC, Blazor, RESTful APIs, authentication, and security.
- Databases: SQL, MongoDB, relational database design, and NoSQL databases.
- Version Control: Git and GitHub.
- Frameworks and Tools: Angular, Entity Framework, Razor, Blazor WebAssembly, and SASS.
- Project Management: Both traditional and agile project methodologies.
- CMS Expertise: WordPress development.
Beyond the Curriculum: Summer Learning
Learning doesn’t stop with the classroom. Over the past summer, I took the opportunity to expand my knowledge by completing courses in Python and C++. These languages allowed me to explore new paradigms of programming and further strengthened my problem-solving skills.
A Living Portfolio
This page isn’t static—it’s a work in progress, just like my journey as a developer. New projects will be added regularly, and each one will be accompanied by a detailed blog post, accessible via the sidebar. These posts will delve into the technical challenges I faced, the solutions I implemented, and the lessons I learned along the way.
By sharing these projects and reflections, I hope to provide a transparent view of my development process while demonstrating my commitment to growth and learning.
